New TARC buses enter service

I nearly fell off my bike today when I saw some spankin' new TARC buses. They look nothing like TARC's traditional or hybrid buses. My first impression was "neato". Any readers have info or photos?

I saw those BUSES FROM THE FUTURE a couple times too in early October but haven't seen them since. There are some *other* new buses. Light gray with some weird ugly red/blue stripes. But those are just regular low-floor Gilligs, not BUSES FROM THE FUTURE.

I can't say I have any photos, but I also saw those buses and was definitely blown away.

I got to ride!

I rode the future bus yesterday on the #55 route!! I got to talk to the driver. He says its an eval bus from Quebec. He really, really likes the design, and hopes it will be chosen over the current crop of clean diesels for the future. Some things he liked were: better front visibility, much more room for wheelchairs at the bottleneck at the front of the bus, lower floor, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things. He was quite enamored.
