Beshear can go his own way on highways

C-J: The General Assembly's 2008 highway construction bill is invalid because it was not delivered to the governor on time, a judge ruled yesterday.

I'm not sure what this will mean for the Ohio River Bridges Project. Check back for updates.

Good News for Opponents of an East End Bridge

I don't claim to know what this court ruling will ultimately mean for Ohio River Bridges Project.  However, the court's failure thus far to support David Williams's challenge has temporarily, at least, kept the downtown bridge backers in complete control over the disbursement of Kentucky bridge funds.   Yesterday's court decision will have cheered Abramson and River Fields.  Stites and Allen will not have liked it.
